Wearing jury-rigged spacesuits made of duct tape, Tracy and Gordo Stevens brave the moon’s vacuum to make repairs to the Jamestown nuclear reactor, in meltdown following damage sustained in a US-Soviet firefight. Tracy and Gordo successfully stabilize the reactor and make it back to the airlock, but die from the toll the vacuum exposure has taken on their bodies.
