I’m watching this episode for probably the 10th time on TNT, the love scene has ALWAYS had Bad Company, but the same exact episode has a song that sounds kind of Latino… what’s the deal with the change??

Any reason the song changed from Don't Fear the Reaper to Death in the Valley? some sort of copyright issue? I remember the original airing of the show, on Netflix the song changed.

At the time of these early seasons, streaming services like Netflix were not all the rage. When it came to buying the rights to songs for use in shows they would purchase for TV broadcast and DVD's only. That is why when you watch old episodes of many shows, the music won't be what you heard on TV or DVD's. When this episode aired... it was Bad Company that played.

Only on the Netflix version. When it originally aired Peace Of Mind by Boston was the song. On the DVD menu the ending chapter of that episode is called Peace of mind. I don't know why, but Netflix totally ruined the music of the show. I'll only watch my DVD's or when aired on the CW and other broadcast stations. Netflix didn't acquire the music rights to the show for some reason.
