Sasha is inside a lab gathering evidence. As the background music fades out, a door slams and he immediately pretends to vomit to avoid suspicion from an arriving individual. He leans against the wall, using the ruse of illness to mask his presence and the evidence he has collected.

Bea is in her apartment and burns a note containing the "Winged Horse" phrase to destroy evidence of her husband's secrets . Parallel to this, Sasha walks through a men's locker room at the bathhouse to prepare for a dead drop.

Twila and Cheryl walk through a crowded discotheque. Bea enters and makes eye contact with Twila to signal that they need to leave. The women move through the crowd and exit together to begin their assignment.

Bea stands lookout outside the bathhouse while Twila retrieves a package from a hidden bin. Twila gives a subtle nod as she exits to confirm the trade is done, and both women depart quickly.

In a tense confrontation at the Elton John concert, Twila and Bea admit to "borrowing" a baby before being escorted backstage by their handler, Phil. Meanwhile, Cheryl discovers Eevi’s hidden recording device and shoots her, just as the embassy wives are formally introduced to the Soviet elite.

S1:EP8 The Stranger

Ray is alerted by an operative to a shooting at his apartment during a public event and immediately flees the venue in a panic.

Bea and Twila wheel an unconscious Andrei through the embassy office to a secure location for later interrogation, while Twila retrieves boxes of red shampoo bottles used to hide smuggled surveillance data.

Bea and Twila realize the arriving Soviet firefighters are actually a KGB tactical team in disguise as Andrei roams free. End credits.
