S1:EP1 Omelette
(Oslo, Norway - 1961) Paul flushes his and Julia's celebratory dinner guest with wine when Julia calls him into the kitchen; Julia finishes up main course as Paul tells her the guest want to her letter; Julia and Paul return to the table with the gravlax where Heidi asks about the letter; after some prodding from Heidi and the guest Julia agrees to read the letter to them; Paul receives a phone call from the embassy summoning him, he announces that he and Julia maybe returning to Paris soon; the guest celebrate both Julia and Paul's good fortune.
At Henri IV, Julia celebrates her success on 'I've Been Reading' with Albert Duhamel with Paul and Avis; Avis gushes over Julia boldness by cooking live on TV on a hot plate on a coffee table quickly revealing that Paul didn't watch the show which Avis chastises him for.
At a diner, Alice reads Julia's cookbook when she's brought a very lackluster meal of meatloaf and potatoes which sours her mood.
At the doctor's office, Julia pulls into a state of sadness after her doctor informs her that she has begun menopause; unable to shake her emotional state Julia calls Paul but finds himself unable to inform him of her diagnosis; Heading to Savenor's, Julia runs into Dorothy and her daughter, who she remarks on before heading inside.
As Paul paints in his studio art room, Julia heads up to her office to type a letter; (repeats) [0:24] Paul calls Julia into his studio to view his finished painting inspired by her pear clafouti.
Stilling away in her office away from Paul, Julia writes a letter to Alice at WGBH to propose the idea of an educational cooking show hosted by her then heads off to mail the letter when she's stopped by Paul calling to her; (repeats) [0:48] End credits (2nd song).
Julia and Simca (Simone Beck) speak over the phone as they pull their Reine de Saba (Queen of Sheba) out of their ovens; Julia voices her frustrations to Simca about her "je ne sais quoi" attitude when it comes to her recipes measures she can't properly bring their book to the American woman with exactness of recipes; Frustrated with Simca, Julia hangs up on her.
After speaking with Alice, a hopeful Julia makes her way over the WGBH with a perfected Queen of Sheba cake in toe as a treat.
At dinner, Julia attempts to navigate the waters with Paul as she tells him about the Alice, WGBH, and the test cooking show to see of his openness to her doing the project.
At the Oyster House, Julia begins to rally her troops against Paul by meeting with their one person who could convince him to come over to her side, Judith.
Julia receives a royalty check from her book then deposits it at a bank; Julia goes to department story and purchases a television; as Julia servers the multitude of television consoles she begins to imagine herself on them; End credits; Julia (2022) Official Trailer.

S1:EP2 Coq Au Vin
'Coq Au Vin' Title card; (repeats) [0:19] Julia, Paul, Avis, Ruth and Judith work together to work out structure for the show as a way to fit the lengthy cooking time for Coq Au Vin into the allotted 28 minute time slot;
Julia brings home a television set before her pilot broadcast for Paul to watch it on.
At dinner, Julia tells Avis and Paul of director Russ Morash's lack of enthusiasm in the show and poses the question of how to get Russ' backing of the protect.
Russ returns home after his meeting with Julia to find himself having purchased one of her cooking book and twisted around after their conversation all which he tells his wife, Marian, after giving her the cook book as welcomes him home to lackluster meal.
The morning the pilot, Julia, Paul and Judith head out to WGBH as they do they stopping by Avis' home to pick her up; (continues) [0:27] Retrieving a depressed Avis, the group arrives at the station for the taping.
Julia attempts to ready herself as tape readies to begin; Russ stages and directs Julia and starts cross hairs with Paul attempting to do the same; as Paul and Russ being to argue Julia pleads with Ruth to handle the situation as her producer; (repeats) [0:34] Julia continues with the taping as Alice and Avis help her from below the counters as runs into issues; Judith helps Russ director Julia; (continues) [0:37] as she servers the meal Russ calls for Julia to stall for time, she uses Paul's speech on the wine to save time.
Taping for The French Chef pilot begins; Theme song; (repeats) [0:38] Julia being the pilot to a close as the taping finishes and the time slot ends.
Julia sets the chicken a lit to flambé it to finish off to coq au vin the flame go sky high, she quickly attempts to resolve the issue of the flames.
Hunter Fox president of WGBH introduces the Monday T.V. line up then introduces "The French Chef" with Julia Child premiering; Julia's friends and her foe in the form of Russ gather around their television sets for the shows premiere.
Julia takes a moment before watching the show to confide in Paul that she has begun menopause; Paul assures Julia that he will still continue to love her in all her glory.
Julia finally decides to tune into the show and switches on the TV; End credits.

(1961) Movers move WGBH into newer and bigger offices after a fire destroyed its previous studios; Ralph attempts to find his stapler in the new office after the move.
