Flashback to Smith drugging her sister and taking over her spot on The Resolute.
Maureen and Smith chat about their backgrounds, as a new emergency arises.
Judy insists they need to dump the fuel to get the alien eels out of their fuel lines; the Jupiter 2 flies out into the valley, then lands hard.
S1:EP4 The Robinsons Were Here
Will and Penny watch the Alpha Centari video, then head off to start the expansion, as Smith steps closer to watch the screen.
Judy, Will, Penny and the robot stumble across a field of flowers that responds to sound, but are scared off by ominous noises in the woods.
Penny stops to admire a waterfall, as Will tries to explain to the robot why not all plants will respond to clapping.
Maureen, John and Don stop to admire the purple illumination in the sky; Will calls his sisters over to see the phenomena.
S1:EP5 Transmission
In the forest, Smith stops to admire a flying insect, just before it's eaten by a much larger creature.
Maureen sets up some measuring equipment in field; a wind gust catches Maureen's parachute, resulting in her almost being pulled off a cliff.
Maureen's high altitude balloon takes her into the upper atmosphere.
S1:EP6 Eulogy
The group rushes to disconnect the fuel line before the ship falls over the cliff; Don disconnects her winch line, when Judy refuses to.
S1:EP7 Pressurized
John ends up driving a chariot backwards down a hill, after he and Maureen are forced off the road by a cryogeyser.
The chariots race across the cryogeyser field.
Smith sings while hiking out to the cairn and using binoculars to look for the robot.
Penny temporarily cheers up Will by letting him ride a robotic arm around the lab.
S1:EP8 Trajectory
John says goodbye to his family and kisses Maureen; Don puts Judy in charge of caring for his hen.
Don and John board the Jupiter 4; Maureen runs through the pre-launch protocol, then grants John permission to launch; John and Maureen exchange 'I love you's.
