Additionally, it attained gold certification in the United States from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The song's accompanying music video was directed by Rupert Wainwright and features Hammer dancing in front of a live-action version of The Addams Family mansion. The video was nominated for Best Rap Video at the 1992 MTV Video Music Awards. "Addams Groove" has been used in various forms of pop culture over the years.
