You Have Become

And high a king, A jester down below. And all around, A people full of woe. The jester comes, And all said those are fled. As a reward, He gets his daily bread. His former name, Has long escaped their minds. His former ways, He's scared it ever finds. That's why he wears, A bell around his neck. They laugh at him, And get their spirits back. La-la-laaa, la la laaa Laa-aa-aa La-la-laaa La-la-laaa, La-la-laaa, La-la-laaa Great is the king, His people though are weak. Only the fool, Can act as he does speak. Still he takes care, To always do his best. Few are kings, But many those are jest. La-la-laaa, la la laaa Laa-aa-aa La-la-laaa La-la-laaa, La-la-laaa, La-la-laaa So the king gone high, And flowers down below. Among he picks, Then so the fool will low. As time goes by, The statue wears away. But newer flowers, Are grown every day.
