Ty’s pickup breaks down on the way to the dance. Ty turns on the radio with this song playing. He picks up Amy and puts her in the bed of his truck and asks her to dance. As they are dancing, Ty tells Amy he has something for her and gives her a promise ring.

Amy and Ty sitting in the bed of his pickup. Amy tells Ty that Kit told her he got accepted into two Vet programs. “You told her, but you didn’t tell me?” Ty tells Amy it’s easy to tell Kit because it doesn’t mean anything, but telling Amy he is moving away isn’t so easy.

After Pegasus passed away from Strangles, Jack gives Tim his saddle. Amy is standing at the kitchen window before the memorial for Pegasus. Ty walks in and apologizes for seeming to take Kit’s side. Amy tells him, it’s okay, she understands. Ty says it’s not okay, that Amy is the most important person in his life and he wants her to know that he is always in her side.

Ty takes Jack with him to look at a motorcycle which he buys. They are going down the road with the motorcycle in the bed of Ty’s pickup and “Born to Be Wild” playing on the radio, singing at the top of their lungs. Song comes on again @ 41:38. After talking over why Amy is upset about the motorcycle, she and Ty take it out for a ride.
