Perry Mason Soundtrack

Season 2 episode 6 has a scratchy old recording in Italian by a tenor that has a brief garbled reference to Mieli or Bizet but there are no music credits anywhere, in fact some sites say there are no "songs". I don't know what they are counting as songs, but I'd love to know what this famous piece of music is.
