Floyd has a moment of charity and self-revelation about his childhood while talking with Diana and the surgical nurses; Lauren attempts to deliver Aria's baby; Dr. Yamadi performs surgery for Elizabeth's carpal tunnel; Ben thanks Max for convincing Elizabeth to get the surgery; Max goes to cancer consult with Dr. Gellar which gives him pause when discussing possible outcomes.
Lauren has a moment of clarity after realizing she's fine with her ADHD medication even after a stess field day without it; Iggy comes to Max to tell him the health day was humiliating but thanks him then heads off to explore his sex life after his own moment of clarity; Max receives is call from Dr. Gellar about his cancer biopsy; Elizabeth finds herself being cared for by Max after her surgery as well as the two of them growing closer together.

Yulia and her son reunite has her life saving surgeries, he finally speaks again; Lauren attends an NA meeting when Vanessa arrives, setting next to her; Iggy and Martin remarry with their children by their side and Gladys presiding over it; Elizabeth pours drinks her and Max as arrives at his busy day with the miracle surgery.
Max hand over the keys to New Amsterdam to its next Director Elizabeth then retrieves Luna to leave the hospital.
