I read somewhere that it was actually Paul Simon's idea to use her version, but I can't find where that comment was. This was the first Eva Cassidy song I ever heard, and I thought it was telling to have her follow Norah Jones, because I knew it wasn't Norah doing Kathy's Song. Eva was an outstanding talent who left us far too soon, and I am so grateful somebody thought she was worth recording.
