Bullet Train Soundtrack
About the Soundtrack
The soundtrack for the upcoming film Bullet Train (2022) will feature an eclectic mix of music from a variety of genres. The tracks have a strong Japenese prominent with prolific artists like Carmen Maki, Tamio Okuda and Kyu Sakamoto. This high-octane thriller from director David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, John Wick) stars Brad Pitt, Joey King, Andrew Koji, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Miles Teller. Bullet Train is based on the Japanese novel Mari by Kotaro Isaka. The soundtrack is an ode to the fast-paced nature of the film and works in complimenting the movie, both in style, tempo and energy. It features a broad range of songs - from massive 80's hits, from artists like Rare Earth, and Shuggy Otis, to provocative punk rock music from the likes of Pussy Riot. The opening cover of Bee Gees "Staying Alive", is also a must-listen. The official soundtrack is to be released on the 5th of August 2022, and contains 14 songs, all of which can be heard in the movie. A score soundtrack will also be released on the same date, that is packed full of 24 original tracks, from Dominic Lewis, who has previously written the score for "The Kings Man", "Jolt" & "My Spy".
