Hello Dan. Yes Ben A did a very real performance in regards representing a person with Autism. My daughter was born with infantile autism, OCD and nonverbal. I have watched this stunning movie dozens of times. All the movements of Christine ? was so correct as my daughter is like that. Beautiful young lady aged 28 now, talks a bit but relies on her iPod to communicate or we sign. In regards on any advancements there has been in starting therapies ASAP, not just giving them drugs to calm down. Unfortunately people see the outside not realising the whole person is in there. I agree with seeing this movie if only to demonstrate potential, but not an assassin. Everyone who visits has to watch this just for some basic understanding. Sadly funding is not a priority.
