Dave Bickler was born on February 12, 1953 in Joliet, Illinois. He is best known as the lead singer of the rock band Survivor. He joined the band in 1978 and sang on their self-titled debut album which was released in 1979. He sang on the band's most successful album, Eye of the Tiger, which was released in 1982. He left the band in 1983 and was replaced by Jimi Jamison. He rejoined the band in 1993 and sang on their album Too Hot to Sleep. He left the band again in 2000 and was replaced by Robin McAuley. He rejoined Survivor once again in 2011.
