Submit your movie.
In an effort to increase user interaction and reward our contributors, we have decided to give you the option to make money via affiliate marketing. You will need an 'Amazon Associates' account which will keep track of the number of hits and orders you recieve from any movie you submit.
You will notice most movies, have a soundtrack widget in the right sidebar. This is linked to an affiliate code controlled by Amazon. If someone clicks on this and buys something from Amazon, you will recieve a percentage of the total sale from Amazon. The percent ranges from 4% to 8% depending on how many sales you make.
To participate, you will need an Amazon Associates account. After that, all you need to do is send in the movies, with all or most of the songs correctly scribed*, as well as your HTML code for the soundtrack widget. You can give us up to two widgets. Usually, 1 widget will contain the soundtrack, and the other widget will contain all the songs that were not listed on the soundtrack. You generate these codes through the 'Amazon Associates' site.
You can submit as many movies as you want, your referral code will be related to that movie page for life. The more movies you add, the more pages you will have, and the more money you can make. To be honest, you will not make not much money to being with. Our website is still fairly unknown, but growing steadily. You can promote your movie pages in any way you want, to try to increase your revenue. As our site grows in popularity and size, your movie pages will generate more and more revenue. Imagine having affiliate links on imdb??
Here are the steps. Please read them all before beginning.
1. You will need an Amazon Associates account. If you do not already have one, you can sign up for one here. Please note that it is an application, you are not guaranteed acception as an associate.
2. You must send us a complete movie. You must include the complete playlist for that movie. You must also scribe atleast 80% of the total playlist. Scribing simply means adding time and scene descriptions to each song. So if the movie has 25 songs, you must find and scribe atleast 20 of those songs. The complete list of songs can be found by watching the end credits. In order to identify the songs during the movie, you can try listening to samples of the soundtrack, googling lyrics you heard, or use some type of music identifying software, like 'Shazaam, which is a free app for the iphone or ipod touch.
3. Once you have scribed your movie, you can send it to us in any type of text format. Such as microsoft word, notepad, textedit, or even just plain email. As long as we can read it, it doesnt really matter. Also, please don't send us movies that have already been scribed, we will not accept them. So check your movies before you scribe them.
4. You must also send us the HTML code for the widgets generated from your Amazon Associates accounts. You must use the MP3 widget option. They must use this format.

*Use 'Playlist' if you simply wish to include every song heard in the movie.
*Use 'Soundtrack' and 'N/A in Soundtrack' if you wish to include two widgets, with one including soundtrack music, and one including songs not heard in the soundtrack.
5. Please leave us your contact email when you submit us your movie, this is so we can contact you if we have any problems with your submission.
6. Notes on scribing. Your scene descriptions must be descriptive but simple. You can have a look at other movies on our sites for examples. Things like 'First Song, opening credits, tim is watching TV'. is perfectly acceptable. The time must be in the format of hr:min. Eg. 0:32 or 1:35. We will also be reviewing your entries, so please don't try to send us fake scene descriptions and songs, we will find out.
7. And thats it. We thank you in advance if you decide to take part in this. You help us out and we hope to return the favour to you. You might want to think of this as an investment. Your rewards will be small, possibly even zero to begin with. But as you add more movies, and our site becomes more popular, your rewards could be quite surprising.
